Cavalese in winter
This location provides great joy to the lovers of Alpine skiing: from here you can take the skilifts of the Alpe Cermis.
Cermis boasts what many define as the most beautiful piste in Trentino: The Olimpia course. It is divided into three parts (1, 2, and 3) and measures approximately 7500 meters in length with a difference in height of 1400 meters. Olimpia 3 is also the seat of the final stage of the Tour de Ski and here skiing is possible even at night.
The Alpe Cermis is part of the Fiemme-Obereggen ski area composed of Latemar Ski Center, Lavazè – Occlini – Ski Alpe Lusia.
Whoever prefers cross-country skiing can take advantage of the famous track of the Marcialonga which can easily be reached by taking the gondola of Alpe Cermis directly from Cavalese down to the station at the bottom of the valley, or choose the circuit of Lago di Tesero or go to Passo Lavazé, reachable by car in just 20 minutes from Cavalese: a beautiful site at 2000 meters above sea level where it is possible to travel about 40 km of slopes admiring an enchanting panorama.
