Thanks to our passion for sport and the multiplicity of sports facilities thin Cavalese offers, we have specialised in the organization of sport meetings in various disciplines: football (soccer), hockey, basketball, futsal and volleyball.
The high quality and the experience reached gave us the opportunity to establish a long-lasting collaboration with the Italian Federation of Volleyball – FIPAV.
Our hotel has become habitually seat of retreats of Senior National Teams both male and female in the preparation of major events such as the World Championships, European and the Olympics.

In an evening of family dialog with grandfather Ugo, Paolo (me) and my wife Lorena (then in their early twenties) decided to jump into a new and exciting adventure, to give life to the innate passion for hospitality and tourism.
Thanks to the sacrifice and the strength of will of our young family, we began the construction of the Hotel La Roccia and in 1990 at Christmas we set off with enthusiasm aware of the difficulties that tourism was crossing in that historic moment.
Only 3 months later from the opening with the thoughtlessness, energy and at the same time, the awareness of what we had to offer, we accepted our first great challenge:
to be Fis-Vip Hotel for the Nordic Ski World Championships in 1991. A very strong experience with guests as the President of the Republic Francesco Cossiga and the President of the International Olympic Committee Samaranch.
A succession of events and emotions, have pushed us to broaden our proposal.
In Christmas 2001 we celebrated the enlargement of our hotel as well as you know it now.
In the meantime our children were born and grew up close to the life of our hotel, which needs to be followed day by day without timetables, developed within them the desire and passion for this job. Today they play important roles within the family business: Simone chef of our kitchen; Federico marketing area, events and reception; Guendalina accounting and hospitality. Always followed and coordinated by me and my wife Lorena.
The hotel is our house: us and all our staff – which today counts about thirty people – we animate it with love and passion conferring personality and heat.
The beautiful harmony with our employees allows us to appreciate our hotel and our culture of hospitality: we believe that the coordination between the staff and the property is essential for transmitting the qualities and values of our company.
I dedicate a special thanks to all our collaborators who over the years have succeeded one another (I still remember with emotion my first encounter with Candido, who was our chef for over twenty years) and to all the people who accompany us in this undertaking.
Now as then, with renewed energy of our children, we are looking to the future with new ideas and new projects with the common objective of giving more quality to our guests and to be able to transmit emotions to remember.
